2 Entry period

Entries open September 19, 2026 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time and close September 28, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time, a period of ten days. Entries received after that time are not eligible. Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper.

3 Who may enter

You must, at the time of entry and at the time of selection:

• be 18 or older
• own and occupy a single family home within 45 driving minutes of Macungie, Pennsylvania. This includes parts of Lehigh, Northampton, Berks, Carbon, Schuylkill, upper Bucks and upper Montgomery counties
• have an unfinished or partly finished basement in that home
• have a basement that is free of water damage, free of structural problems, and physically able to be finished

Employees of Sponsor and members of their immediate household or family are not eligible.

4 How to enter

Complete the entry form on Sponsor's website with your name, phone number, email address, town, and your answer about your basement condition. Limit one entry per household as your base entry.

5 Extra entries

After you enter, Sponsor's thank you page gives you a personal referral link. Each separate person who enters a valid entry using your link gives you one additional entry. There is no limit on the number of additional entries you can earn this way.

Referral entries are free. Nothing you buy affects your entries or your odds. A referral only counts when the person it refers submits a valid, eligible entry using your link, and only once per referred household. Self referrals, duplicate households, and entries submitted with contact details the entrant is not entitled to provide do not count.

Bonus questionnaire. Sponsor may invite entrants, by email, to complete a short questionnaire about their project. Completing it once gives you five additional entries. It is free, it is optional, and it has no effect on how winners are chosen: winners are drawn at random as described in Section 6, and nothing an entrant writes in the questionnaire is judged, scored or used to select a winner. Five additional entries are awarded once per entrant, not once per submission. An entrant who does not complete it keeps their entry and remains fully eligible for every prize.

6 Selection of winners

After entries close, the grand prize winner is selected at random from all valid entries. Odds depend on the number of valid entries received and on the number of additional entries earned. A minimum number of eligible entries is required for the grand prize to be awarded. If that minimum is not met, Sponsor may cancel the grand prize or award a reduced scope of work of comparable value. Sponsor's selection is final. There is no live or public drawing. Every other eligible entrant receives the second place prize described in Section 8.

The winner is notified by phone and email at the details provided. If the winner cannot be reached within seven days, or does not meet every eligibility requirement, or does not sign the documents in Section 10, the prize is forfeited and an alternate may be selected.

7 Grand prize

One finished basement of up to 800 square feet at the winner's home, consisting of framing, insulation to code, electrical rough and finish, drywall, flooring, trim and paint, plus the permit set and permit fees.

Approximate retail value: $85,000.

Not included: bathrooms, wet bars, or any plumbing of any kind; egress windows; cutting or altering the foundation; structural work; underpinning; waterproofing or drainage remediation; HVAC beyond incidental relocation; appliances; furnishings; and anything outside the finished area.

The prize is awarded as work performed by Sponsor. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred or substituted, and cannot be exchanged for money or credit. Sponsor selects all materials, finishes and scheduling in its reasonable discretion.

Prize condition. If the basement cannot lawfully or safely be finished as described, for example because of water intrusion, insufficient ceiling height, or code or structural problems, Sponsor may award a reduced scope of work of comparable value, or select an alternate winner. Sponsor is not obligated to remediate a basement in order to award it.

Work is scheduled at a mutually agreed time and Sponsor expects to complete it within a reasonable period after the winner signs. The winner must provide access, working utilities and a cleared work area.

8 Second place

Every eligible entrant who is not selected for the grand prize receives the second place prize.

The second place prize is the entrant's choice of one of the following:

• a $5,000 credit applied to a basement finishing project contracted with Sponsor, or
• free flooring and installation as part of a basement finishing project contracted with Sponsor

Second place winners have 72 hours from the time Sponsor first notifies them to claim the prize and state their choice. A prize that is not claimed within 72 hours is forfeited.

Both second place options are credits toward work performed by Sponsor. Neither has any cash value, neither can be redeemed for money, neither is transferable, and neither can be combined with another offer. Each applies only to a basement finishing project under a signed contract with Sponsor, at Sponsor's standard pricing, and only to a property that meets the eligibility requirements in Section 3. One second place prize per household. The credit expires twelve months after the claim date.

Nothing about second place obligates the winner to purchase anything. An entrant who never contracts with Sponsor simply does not redeem it.

9 Number of prizes

One grand prize. Second place prizes are not limited in number: every eligible entrant who does not win the grand prize is entitled to one, subject to Section 8.

10 What the winner has to sign

Before any work begins the winner must sign Sponsor's standard home improvement contract as required by Pennsylvania law, an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release, unless prohibited by law.

11 Taxes

Prizes are taxable income to the winner. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC as required, and each winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes. Winners should consult their own tax advisor.

12 Publicity

Except where prohibited, entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner's name, town, photographs and video of the completed work for advertising, without further payment.

13 Meta

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook or Instagram. By entering, you release Meta completely and agree that any questions, comments or complaints about the promotion go to Sponsor, not to Meta. You are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Meta.

14 General

Void where prohibited. This promotion is governed by Pennsylvania law. Sponsor may disqualify any entry it reasonably believes to be fraudulent, automated, duplicated, or submitted with contact details the entrant is not entitled to provide. Sponsor may terminate or amend the promotion if it cannot be run as planned, and will post any change on this page.

15 Winners list

For the first name and town of each winner, send a stamped self addressed envelope to Sponsor within 30 days after entries close.
